This project saw us completing the paving and landscaping to create a modern garden design Here we installed a beautiful black slate patio with granite bullnose steps and a couple of rendered planter-benches that frame it on either side and make the house look rather grandiose. Without seeing the before pictures, it looks like it was always part of the original construction! Initially, it was a straightforward job that turned into a technical feat due to some unforeseen, last-minute changes. We used lovely cedar wood for the benches and the client wished to do their own planting, opting for some pretty, fragrant chives.
