We quickly realised, however, the impact that working with the right people would have. Our Ethos and Values
1) Health and Safety
This is our number one for a reason. Your safety is always Utopia’s primary concern. Nothing should ever compromise your health and wellbeing. If you feel something isn’t safe or if you feel uncomfortable carrying out a task, then speak to another member of the team. We have all the necessary PPE. If there is something else that you feel we need, please let us know. Always try and reduce manual handling where possible.
2) Housekeeping
This ties in nicely with health and safety. Make sure your working space is always as tidy as possible. When you finish a task in a particular area make sure you pack everything away before moving on to the next area. Leave no tools or cables lying around as they are trip hazards. Also, housekeeping is for the clients. Make sure they can move freely in and out of their home either by foot or vehicle. We need to make sure that none of our tools or equipment are directly in their way. Our vehicle dashboards are to be completely clear; no rubbish, receipts, or anything to be placed on a dashboard. At the end of everyday tools are to be cleaned and packed away safely, neatly and locked away into their respective storage boxes. All paths /drives are to be swept down. Vehicle covers are to always remain on, this will hide any rubbish or equipment when driving around.
3) Workmanship
Ensure you try your very best at all times. Always, always ask for help when needed, and seek a second opinion on the best method of works to ensure improvements on quality are being made.
