Max Nardone
Max joined the team fresh out of school and jumped straight into working with us full-time as one of our garden landscapers. We loved how enthusiastic he was about the work and wanting to learn, impressing us all with his quick adaptation to working life and the high physicality of the job. He enjoyed a brief stint working for another company but soon discovered that the grass isn’t always greener. We know young people need to try different things so we’re happy that he decided to come back.
Max is a good kid with a big heart and a quirky sense of humour. He fits in perfectly at Utopia and we’re all fond of him.
Having somebody so young who is interested in landscaping and whom we can collectively mentor, mould and support in their growth and development is really cool. Max has come a long way since he started landscaping and has gained invaluable experience and many new skills through a hands-on approach. He excelled on a paving course that the team attended in 2021 and shortly afterward, jointly lay a patio with Nicole under minimal guidance.
Downtime for Max means chilling out with friends; he enjoys camping and is mad about fishing. From a young age, he has been into professional horse-riding (Max even competed in the Grand National) and rugby but had to stop after a sporting injury caused his knee to repeatedly dislocate.
