The Challenge
A year after transforming Tim and Pam’s back garden, they invited us back to bring our design expertise to the front garden. The brief was to create a Victorian-inspired look that would complement their home’s style, including a new side path to match the back garden’s paving. This project allowed us to build on our previous work and achieve a cohesive, timeless look across both spaces.
The Garden Design and Creation
The back garden was the first phase of the transformation, marking our transition into full garden makeovers. We utilised a variety of materials, such as wood-effect porcelain and Brazilian grey slate, which quickly became client favourites. The design included a custom rendered planter-bench, providing Tim and Pam with a space to plant herbs and enjoy a quiet moment surrounded by greenery. Two lollipop bay trees, gifted to the clients, added a touch of elegance, while ornamental grasses created a dynamic, eye-catching display.
For the front garden, we followed a Victorian-style design, installing a side path with paving slabs that tied in with the materials used at the back. The result was a seamless transition that complements the home’s aesthetic and enhances the overall curb appeal.
The New Garden Landscape
The completed garden is a beautiful blend of classic Victorian-inspired elements and contemporary features. Tim and Pam are now able to enjoy a cohesive garden experience from the front to the back, with distinct yet complementary styles. The herb planter-bench, wood-effect porcelain, and striking ornamental grasses create a unique space that feels both stylish and personal.
