The Challenge

This project involved transforming a new-build property’s garden into a contemporary outdoor space, completed over two phases. The clients wanted a stylish, low-maintenance design that would accommodate their dog, Chilli, and incorporate modern landscaping elements. Our goal was to create a garden that felt fresh and inviting while providing functional areas for relaxation and play.

The Garden Design and Creation

In the first phase, we focused on constructing the main garden structures. A beautiful oak pergola was built to add height and shade, while planters and batten fencing were installed to define the space and create privacy. We selected a variety of plants to add texture and colour, establishing the garden’s initial framework.

The second phase brought additional practical and aesthetic elements. We laid artificial lawn, a durable and low-maintenance solution for Chilli, ensuring the garden could stay green year-round. A pathway was created around the planters, bordered with white stone chippings for a crisp, modern look. In this area, we planted a feature Dwarf Salix tree, which will add seasonal interest as it blooms, complemented by carefully placed driftwood to complete the design.

The New Garden Landscape

The finished garden is a contemporary, versatile space that blends hardscaping with lush greenery. The combination of the oak pergola, modern batten fencing, and fresh artificial lawn offers a stylish retreat that’s both dog-friendly and visually appealing. With the Dwarf Salix tree poised to bloom and the white stone chippings adding a touch of elegance, this garden is a beautiful addition to our new-build portfolio and a delight for the clients.
